Abstract
결 론
정상 교합을 하는 12세에서 23세 사이의 한국인 남녀 171명을 대상으로, 상하악 경석고
치열 모형을 제작하고 모형상에서 하악 4전치의 근원심 폭경과 하악 영구 견치 및 소구치의
근원심 폭경을 계측하고 남녀별로 구분하여 3가지 혼합치열기 공간 분석방법에 따라 예측치
를 산출한 다음 실제치와 비교하여 각 방법들에 대한 정확도를 비교평가하여 다음과 같은
결과를 얻었다.
1. 하악 영구 견치 및 소구치의 근원심 폭경합의 실제치와 예측치 사이의 상관계수는 남자,
여자 모두에서 Tanaka와 Jhonston, 宋 등의 방법이 Moyers에 비해 강한 상관관계를 나타
내었다.
2. 하악 영구 견치 및 소구치의 근원심 폭경합의 실제치와 예측치의 평균과의 차이는 남자
여자 모두에서 宋 등의 방법이 실제치에 근접함을 보여주고 있다.
3. 상관 계수와 쌍체 비교에 의한 평균차에 따른 정확도를 평가했을 때, 남녀 모두에서 宋
등의 방법이 높은 정확도를 나타내었다.
4. 하악 영구 절치 근원심 폭경합의 계측치에서 하악 편측 영구견치, 소구치들의 근원심 폭
경합을 예측키 위한 회귀 방정식은 다음과 같다.
남자 : Y=8.911+0.566X
여자 : Y=11.851+0.424X
전체 : Y=10.454+0.492X

This study was performed in order to determine the acuracy of 3 mixed dentition
analysis methods and combinations of these methods in Korean.
The samples in this study were mandibular casts of 171 Koreans with normal
occlusion of permanent dentition. Ranging in age from 12 years to 23 years.
Measurements of mesiodoistal widths of the mandibular 4 anterior teeth, and mandibular
canine and premolars were obtained from the casts. Actual mesiodistal widths of
mandibular canine and premolars compared with predicted widths of mandibular canine
and premolars taken by 3 prediction methods.
From this study, the following conclusions were made :
1. In correlation coefficients for the sum of mesiodoistal widths of the mandibular
canine and premolars with their perdicted values obtained by each of the 3 prediction
methods, male have been found to be relatively higher than female.
2. In differences between average actual width and average predicted width of
mandibular canine and premolars, Song etc. method had the minimum difference value.
3. The statistical significances of the correlation coefficients and average differences
revealed that Song etc. method exhibited the closest results with actual values.
4. From regression coefficients for the sum of mandibular 4 anterior teeth with the
sum of mesiodistal widths of the mandibular canine and premolars, the following
regression equations were made :
Male : Y=8.911+0.566X
Female : Y=11.851+0.424X
Total : Y=10.454+0.492X
